Campaign Story

I have always wanted to be a mother. I wanted to wait until I met the right partner to start a family with, too. I waited patiently until I met the love of my life – Andrew – in my mid 30’s. We got married last year and used what little money we had saved to fund the medications for our first round of IVF instead of having a honeymoon or wedding ceremony.

Andrew is a fully disabled veteran who served in the Marines and was honorably discharged. His disability also directly causes challenges with our fertility journey requiring extra steps to getting me pregnant. He is the most kind hearted and loving man I know, and deserves to be a father.

My ovarian reserve is limited due to my age and genetics, which means we have to do another round of retrievals as only one egg fertilized on our first try (we find out tomorrow if it has made it through this stage). We desperately want to have a child and any amount would be helpful to us in this journey (yes even $1 dollar!). If you cannot contribute, please pray for us. It’s been a long road and we want to be able to bring a baby to this world when we still have the opportunity to. I can say we will both make excellent parents if blessed with the opportunity!

With love
Kristin and Andrew
